Church Occasions and Special Services: August 2022 --

The Church Occasions and Special Services for St. Anthony's are now available for August 2022. These include the beginning of St. Mary's Fast, the Glorifications of St. Mary, and the Feast of St. Mary (the Assumption). To see a graphic of this schedule, please follow this link.

Currently, the Pennsylvania Department of Health is advising individuals to follow CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19 protection. CDC guidelines for Covid-19 protection are now based on Covid-19 Community Levels by county. Counties with Medium or Low Covid-19 Comunity Levels (which in this area currently includes: Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, Perry and York), the following guidelines apply:
  • Individuals should stay up to date with Covid-19 vaccines and boosters.
  • Individuals should self examine and follow CDC recommendations for isolation and quarantine, including getting tested and not attending church services, if they are exposed to Covid-19 or are showing Covid-19 symptoms, even if they are fully vaccinated.
  • Individuals should talk to their healthcare provider if they need to wear a mask or take other precautions if they are immunocompromised or are at high risk for severe illness (including those with cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, chronic lung diseases, cystic fibrosis, dimentia or neurologic conditions, diabetes, disabilities, heart conditions, HIV, a weakened immune system, mental health conditions, sickle cell disease, tuberculosis, who have had organ or stem cell transplants, who have had a stroke, who do now or used to smoke, who have undergone substance abuse, who are overweight, who are pregnant).
  • Regardless of vaccination status, individuals should consider wearing a mask if they have close association with an individual (such as a spouse, family member, relative or friend) who is immunocompromised or is at high risk for severe illness as described in the bullet point above.
While wearing a mask is primarily intended to protect others in the event that you are unknowingly infected with Covid-19, wearing a mask properly (including covering both your mouth and your nose) also provides you more protection from becoming Covid-19 infected than not wearing a mask.

Please continue to practice social distancing and hand hygiene as much as possible.

Please go to the Church Occasions and Special Services page for details.
